Tiro Gifting Rewards Terms

Tiro Gifting Rewards Terms

Effective date: July 17, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose and Definitions)

  1. These terms set out the conditions for taking part in the Tiro Gifting Rewards Program (the "Program") operated by ThePlato Inc. (the "Company"), and the rules for earning and using rewards.
  2. A "reward" is a benefit earned through the Program that can only be used as a deduction from paid Tiro charges. A reward is not cash and does not constitute a deposit, electronic money, or a security.
  3. An "inviting member" is a member who shares their own invite link, and an "invited member" is a member who signs up through that link.

Article 2 (Participation and Consent)

  1. Creating or sharing an invite link, or signing up through an invite link, is treated as acceptance of these terms.
  2. Eligibility to join the Program, reward amounts, the conditions for earning rewards, and the timing of payout are shown on the Program information screen in the service, and the Company may change them. Any change applies only to rewards earned after it is posted and does not affect rewards already earned.

Article 3 (Earning Rewards)

  1. Rewards are earned when the conditions shown on the information screen in the service are met, such as the invited member reaching a minimum amount of usage or making their first paid payment.
  2. The reward for a first paid payment is earned once 7 days have passed since that payment and the payment has not been refunded.
  3. Rewards are not earned in any of the following cases.
    1. The invited person signs up through a workspace member invitation.
    2. The inviting member and the invited member are the same person, or are effectively judged to be the same party, such as by using the same payment method or device.
    3. Someone who already has a Tiro account signs up while posing as a new user.
    4. A signup or use is carried out in any other way that runs counter to the purpose of the Program.
  4. Members who signed up through an invitation before this Program began already received the reward offered under the program running at that time (extra usage credit), so rewards under this Program are not earned retroactively for them. The number of signups shown in the service may include people who joined before the start date.

Article 4 (Using Rewards)

  1. Rewards belong to a member's account and can only be used to reduce paid Tiro charges for a workspace where that member has billing permission.
  2. Rewards cannot be converted to cash, refunded, or transferred, and cannot be sold to a third party or moved to another account.
  3. If a payment that had a reward applied to it is refunded, the refund is capped at the amount the member actually paid, and the portion covered by the reward is not refunded. In this case, the reward used for the deduction may not be restored.

Article 5 (Expiration)

  1. If a member closes their account, any unused rewards expire and are not restored if the member signs up again.
  2. Rewards can be used for 1 year from the date they are earned, and rewards past their validity period expire automatically. When rewards are applied to a payment, the ones earned earliest are used first.
  3. The Company may give advance notice of rewards that are about to expire, for example through an in-service notification.

Article 6 (Recovering Improperly Earned Rewards)

  1. The Company may recover rewards earned through improper means or refuse to grant them, and may restrict the member's participation in the Program. Improper means include, but are not limited to, self-referral, creating multiple accounts, repeatedly paying and then deliberately refunding, and using automated tools to drive mass signups.
  2. If improperly earned rewards have already been applied to a payment, the Company may deduct an equivalent amount from future earnings or bill the member separately.

Article 7 (Personal Information)

  1. The inviting member and the invited member cannot view each other's personal information, such as email addresses. The Company provides the inviting member only with aggregate information, such as the number of invited members who signed up and the reward balance.
  2. The handling of personal information in the course of running the Program follows the Company's privacy policy.

Article 8 (Changing or Ending the Program)

  1. The Company may change or end the Program after giving advance notice. If the Program ends, rewards earned up to that point can still be used until they expire under Article 5.

Article 9 (Miscellaneous)

  1. Matters not covered by these terms follow the Tiro Terms of Service and applicable laws. If these terms conflict with the Terms of Service, these terms take precedence with respect to the Program.
